Kings of Virginia is an independent genealogy and history project. Its purpose is to build a public research library connecting families, localities, cemeteries, historic places, and original records.
The project begins with King William County and is designed to grow as reviewed material becomes available. It is not a complete family-tree database or an official government archive.
A library built to be checked
Research is more useful when a reader can follow the evidence. Each study should explain its sources, distinguish conclusions from open questions, and make room for corrections.

Public county research guides
The library now includes burned-records research guidance and county starting points for Hanover, King and Queen, King William, and New Kent. These are public archival guides; no private family tree has been published.
